🎓 Purpose & Scope

Based on the recommendation of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), this committee is established.
The Faculty manages several endowment funds in memory of eminent personalities. Through these endowments,
gold medals, prizes, and scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding students, typically during the
General Convocation. In addition, the Committee identifies undergraduate students facing financial difficulties
during the academic year and provides appropriate support.

✔ Responsibilities

• Maintain scholarship and award funds and ensure adequate financial resources are available.
• Mobilize additional funds by engaging new donors and well-wishers.
• Select suitable candidates for awards and honours through a fair and transparent process.
• Develop and publish clear criteria for each award on the Faculty website.
• Collaborate with the Faculty Students’ Union and Alumni Association in the selection of scholarship recipients.
• Ensure timely announcement and publication of scholarship criteria and application procedures.
• Maintain fairness, justice, and transparency in all selection processes.

and Assistant Registrar / Senior Assistant Registrar / Deputy Registrar – Student Welfare

🏛 Composition

• Dean of the Faculty
• Heads of Departments
• Deputy Proctor of the Faculty
• Student Counsellors of the Faculty
• Two representatives from the Faculty Students’ Union
• Secretary nominated from among the appointed members

⏳ Duration of the Term

Three (03) years for all members.

📂 Storage of Documents

All documents of the Committee shall be catalogued by the Secretary and maintained under the custody
of the Deputy Registrar / Senior Assistant Registrar / Assistant Registrar of the Faculty.

📑 Guidelines / SOPs

Recommendations shall be submitted through the Dean to the Chairman,
University Endowments, Scholarships, Prizes & Awards Committee.
