border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udccc Purpose &amp; Scope<\/h3><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose and scope of the <strong>Faculty Curriculum Development Committee (FCDC)<\/strong><br \/>is to ensure that the curricula of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree programmes are<br \/>regularly reviewed and updated to meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.<br \/>The developed curricula shall be submitted to the Faculty Board of the<br \/>Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan Faculty of Performing and Visual Arts (SPRFPVA)<br \/>for recommendation to the Curriculum Committee of the University of Jaffna<br \/>and subsequently for approval by the Senate.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- Responsibilities --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\u2714 Responsibilities<\/h3><ul style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><li>Develop and revise the curricula of the Faculty.<\/li><li>Maintain academic standards and policies relating to undergraduate degree programmes.<\/li><li>Review grading systems, mark allocations, assessment methods, and examination structures as required.<\/li><li>Receive and consider comments and observations from appropriate external reviewers.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><p><!-- Reporting --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udcc4 Reporting Responsibility<\/h3><p><strong>Faculty Board of the Faculty<\/strong><\/p><\/div><p><!-- Appointment --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udc65 Procedure of Appointment<\/h3><p>The Faculty Board shall appoint the Chairperson and Members of the<br \/>Faculty Curriculum Development Committee in accordance with the approved composition.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- Composition --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83c\udfdb Composition<\/h3><ul style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><li>Chairperson of the Faculty Curriculum Development Committee.<\/li><li>At least one Senior Academic Member from each Department of the Faculty.<\/li><li>Deputy Registrar\/Senior Assistant Registrar\/Assistant Registrar of the Faculty (Convener).<\/li><\/ul><\/div><p><!-- Selection --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udcdd Selection of Members<\/h3><p>The relevant Head of the Department concerned with the degree programme<br \/>shall nominate members for approval by the Faculty Board.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- Duration --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\u23f3 Duration of the Term<\/h3><p><strong>Three (03) years.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><p><!-- Meetings --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udcc5 Meetings<\/h3><p>The Committee shall hold <strong>not fewer than six (06) regular meetings<\/strong><br \/>during each academic year.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- Documents --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udcc2 Storage of Documents<\/h3><p>All official documents, including meeting minutes,<br \/>shall be compiled, maintained, and securely stored by the<br \/>Deputy Registrar\/Senior Assistant Registrar\/Assistant Registrar of the Faculty.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- SOP --><\/p><div style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><h3 style=\"color: #0b3d91; border-left: 5px solid #0B3D91; padding-left: 12px;\">\ud83d\udcd1 Guidelines \/ SOPs<\/h3><p>Confirmed minutes of meetings shall be circulated to all members<br \/>of the Faculty Board of the SPRFPVA.<\/p><\/div><p><!-- Contact --><\/p><div style=\"background: #f5f9ff;
